To best support your child’s experience in class and to respect the experience of others, please adhere to the following policies:
Protocols and Procedures For Indoor Classes During Covid-19:
CLASS SIZE: Class size will be limited to 6 / 7 to allow for adequate distancing.
STAY HEALTHY: If anyone, parent, caregiver, and/or child is not feeling well, exhibits any signs of illness (runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever etc.) we ask that you please stay home as anyone who exhibits any signs of illness will not be permitted to attend class.
ARRIVAL: Upon arrival, your child will be allowed to enter the facility while keeping a safe distance with their adult. We will do a temperature check for both adults and children. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4°F will not be permitted to attend the program or enter the building. You/your child’s caregiver, will be asked a series of 4 questions about their exposure to Covid-19. Please note, that we may not have someone available who speaks a second language at the door, so if your caregiver does not speak English, she/he will have to supply us with a signed and dated statement for that date/day that they are in compliance with the questions asked in order to attend the class.
MASK WEARING: Everyone over the age of 2 years will be asked to wear a mask while indoors. Disposable masks will be provided if needed. Individuals are required to wear a face covering if they are medically able to tolerate a covering.
SOCIAL DISTANING: Everyone will be asked to maintain a 6 foot distance and follow the markers on the floor indicating 6ft spacing.
ADDITIONAL ATTENDEES: Only Employees, registered children and their one accompanying adult will be allowed in the facility. No guests, drop-in users, or non-pre-registered children will be permitted.
Siblings over the age of 6 months not registered for the class will not be permitted to enter the facility. If you need to bring a second child, you are welcome to enroll them in the class. Siblings 6 months or under may enter ONLY if they remain in a sling or baby carrier for the duration of being indoors. This is because we have to follow a STRICT head count.
CLEANING PROTOCOL: Creative Play for Kids staff will clean and disinfect the rooms used and common areas such as door knobs, railings, and bathroom areas in between classes. Each facility will also clean their spaces at night. A cleaning log will be maintained daily.
